Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Physical Therapist position is available to provide services across multiple K-12 schools within a school district in Clermont, FL. This contract role is scheduled to run from the start date through the end of the current school year, concluding on 5/28/2026. The therapist will work approximately 35 hours per week and will be assigned to different schools throughout the week, with travel between locations required. Efforts will be made to keep assignments to one school per day.
Location: Clermont, FL (On-site only)
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy support to K-12 students based on caseload needs and severity
- Travel between assigned schools within the district daily
- Collaborate with school staff to create effective therapy plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies
- Adapt interventions to meet individual student needs and goals
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Physical Therapist licensure required
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings preferred
- Ability to manage a variable caseload efficiently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel between schools within the district during the week
